We do not get wet on every trip but being an open RIB we are exposed to the elements and on windy days chances of sea spray are greater. We recommend a waterproof jacket to protect you from the wind, especially in the winter months.
-
Our trips still run on rainy days. We simply recommend wrapping up with waterproofs and enjoying the adventure!
-
We welcome small dogs onboard and please email us beforehand to notify us if you plan to bring your dog as we would need to check with the other customers onboard if they are ok with it.
-
We advise against our trips for pregnant women because of the bouncy nature of the boat.
-
The closest toilet facilities are found on the main road (Fort road) approx 2mins walk from the boat.
-
We recommend a light coat to keep the wind and rain of you. In the colder months bring something warm and in hotter times, suncream, swimsuit (if you fancy swimming) and water.
-
It’s unlikely you’ll get seasick. Our boat can slice through rough water meaning we are less affected by the slow- rolling motion which causes sea sickness.
-
Food and drinks are welcome. We recommend bringing a picnic if you have booked a private charter.
-
We run back to back boat trips throughout the day therefore we can’t delay any boat trips. Please arrive 30minutes before your booking to find time to use toilets, parking and to make up for traffic delays. If you’re late we will do our best to accommodate you onto a later trip if there’s availability. We cannot refund anyone who misses their booking.
-
Yes we offer swimming on all boat trips only in calm sea conditions. You’re not required to swim.
-
You can pay for parking on West Quay road located next to the boat. The parking fee has to be paid via the PopPay app using site code ‘10100’. We recommend downloading the app before you arrive to save time because signal can be poor in the area. You’ll find free parking also on Fort Road a 2min walk from the boat.
-
Please arrive in clean soft shoes such as flip flops or trainers. Bare foot is also ok. No heels or heavy work boots.
-
Yes everyone is offered a wetsuit for all water sports activities along with a lifejacket.
-
Please ensure you have swimwear, sunglasses with a safety strap, a towel and sensible footwear to wear down to the jetty. We will provide you with a wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
-
